Dr. Victoria Hauwa Jatto is an economist whose career spans academic research, private consulting, and public policy execution.

She is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, and serves as Deputy Director of the Raw Materials Research Unit. She is also a visiting lecturer and research facilitator at the University of Eduardo Mondlane, Mozambique, and the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Her research has gained international recognition through global conferences and publications.

Beyond academia, Dr. Victoria is a seasoned practitioner. As CEO of Intellect Plus Advisory Ltd, she provides economic consultancy services to diverse organizations. Her leadership roles include serving as a Board Member of the Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER) and as a member of the Technical Working Committee for the Medium-Term National Development Plan (2021–2025) and Nigeria Agenda 2050. Dr. Victoria has consulted for organizations such as the UN and the African Development Bank.

She is committed to contributing to national development through research and planning while focusing on opportunities that will enhance Africa’s sustainable development.
